Helen is walking a massive 100 miles along the West Highland Way in May 2022! With her walking group, Helen will complete this challenge over a period of just 7 days!

1. To support our soon to be launched services helping terminally ill people, like Pete, with their own bucket list goals!

Pete's last Christmas dinner with family

  Pete's parents and family choose not to celebrate their first Christmas without their son with cards and gifts, instead choosing to donate to the Young Person's Unit (QE Hospital), where Pete received a lot of his treatment. 


They raised an amazing £909.50 for the Queen Elizabeth's YPU!

 The 2nd annual PeteFest returned in Nov 2020 as an online festival (due to the Covid-19 lockdown). We had performances from artists and bands across GB, NI and Australia, and heard from the young people benefitting from CLIC Sargent's support.


Despite restrictions, the event raised a fantastic £1,155.81 for CLIC Sargent Music Service!

Pete's mum and sister in charity dance show

Dubarrie School of Dance, Solihull, kindly raised funds through their dance show, Dance the Decades, the week after Pete passed,. It featured Pete's mum and sister, fulfilling his wish that they continue with the show.


The final amount presented to the Manager of CLIC Sargent's Music Service at the event was more than £1,500!

Many fundraisers were cancelled in the light of Lockdown 2020. Not to be put off, Pete's mum and sister completed their 50km walk over 2 weeks in April 2020, during their daily exercise slot! 


They raised over £1,600 for CLIC Sargent through the walk and Vikki's baking skills!

Donations taken up at Pete's funeral in March 2020 raised an amazing £814.58, split evenly between the Young Person's Unit (QE Hospital) where he received a lot of his treatment, and the Healing Sounds Music in Hospitals programme at Uni Hospital Coventry, where he passed away.


Further donations were taken at Pete's father-in-law's funeral in July 2020, with £415 going to CLIC Sargent in Pete's name.

The first PeteFest was set up by theatre crew friends of Pete, to celebrate his life and raise money for youth cancer charity CLIC Sargent.


A night of live music, entertainment, food, games and merch raised a brilliant £1,149 for the CLIC Sargent Music Service who supported Pete during his cancer journey.

Through the direct donation buttons on our social media posts, £939 has so far been raised and transferred directly by Facebook.


The charities which have received money include CLIC Sargent, Teenage Cancer Trust, Marie Curie, NI Chest Heart and Stroke and the RNLI.
