We stayed overnight in one of the most haunted houses in N.Ireland, Cumber House, under the guidance of the 'Exploring with SAW' team.

After the fantastic Falconer's Quest show at Warwick Castle, Pete got to handle and fly this gorgeous Harris's Hawk named Brian!

Unfortunately, Pete passed away before we could do this ourselves. So his sister, parents and I planted a memorial tree in Vikki's garden, along with a sprinkle of his ashes.

Pete was able to record the last of his original music thanks to Olly and Elliott at Sansom Studios. These will be released in the future.

We were able to have a picnic by the river that runs through the grounds of Warwick Castle during our visit, along with Pete's parents, Auntie Mo and a very inquisitive peacock!

During his visit to Sansom Studios, Pete recorded a number of cover songs, including 'Moondance' with Elliott Sansom on piano.

This was the first we ticked off, just days after his terminal diagnosis, a visit and tour of the Cadbury Factory with lots of free chocolate!

I always wanted to take Pete to the Causeway as I had so many family trips here as a child. He loved it: climbed over the rocks, sat in the Giant's Chair and meditated beside the sea.

Megan at Cocoon Floatation provided this experience while we were in Australia. Pete found it very spiritual and meditative, like being back in the womb.

Joseph of Danse Macabre, Belfast, kindly donated us our matching tattoos, of clasped hands feeding an anatomical heart. I even got to do a little part of Pete's tattoo...

This was Pete's first time on a horse since his amputation, riding through the Australian rainforest with his cousins Kylie and Alana, thanks to Otford Farm Trail Rides.

During our tour of the Golden Circle in Iceland with Pete's cousin, Pete and I took a walk up a hill to lie and look at the stars and were graced with the Northern Lights!

We were very lucky to be able to watch the sunrise on the Summer Solstice from the inside of Stonehenge - an unreal experience!

We completed this along with lots of Pete's aussie family at Symbio Wildlife Park in New South Wales. A beautiful day out with kangaroos, koalas and tazmanian devils.

We spent a beautiful evening in the geothermal waters on our last night in Iceland with Pete's cousin and wife.

We went to SeaLife with Pete's twin and her husband on a double date. 2 years later we returned for the bucket list visit, us married and them with a baby! SeaLife kindly provided free entry for us.

Unfortunately we could not get travel insurance for Pete to travel to Colorado, so we compromised and brought Max and Hannah to Iceland with us! We're grateful for those days, as Pete passed away 6 months before their wedding.

Pete and I were lucky enough to cruise around New Zealand en route to Australia. We took a day trip out to the Hobbiton Movie Set, a simply magical day!

Australia was a big one on his list, as Pete has important family there that he wanted to see again and he thinks of it as his spiritual home. It was great family time full of love, laughter and peace.

Pete had many visits to Warwick Castle growing up, so it was lovely to return with him, his parents and his Aunt Mo. We watched the falconry show, wandered the Castle and toured the Castle Dungeons. Access gifted by Warwick Castle.

It was a day of torrential rain, but we had a fantastic VIP behind the scenes experience courtesy of West Midlands Safari Park. Pete fed the rhinos, penguins, giraffes, lorikeets, sealions and lemurs with Pete's parents and Aunt Mo.
